- How do I claim my free listing?
- Find your business in our directory, then click the "Claim This Listing" button on your business page. You'll fill out a short verification form, and our team will confirm your ownership within 1-2 business days.
- What does a Featured listing actually get me?
- Featured listings receive a highlighted badge, priority placement in search results, the ability to add multiple photos, and an expanded description section - essentially turning your listing into a mini-website for your business.
- What's the difference between Featured and Elevated?
- An Elevated listing turns your business page into a fully custom experience with its own design, branding, multiple tabs, and a dedicated vanity URL. It also removes links to related businesses so visitors stay focused on you. Think of it as your own mini-website under the Chester County Online umbrella, with built-in visitor tracking.
- Can I cancel or change my plan?
- Absolutely. Monthly plans can be cancelled anytime with no long-term commitment. Annual plans run for the full year at the discounted rate. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time.
- Do I need a website to get listed?
- Not at all. Every business in Chester County gets a free listing with basic info. If you upgrade to a Featured or Elevated listing, your expanded profile acts as a mini-website - so you don't need a separate site to have a professional online presence.
- Why are Featured and Elevated spots limited?
- Priority placement only means something if it stays rare. We cap it at 2 Featured and 2 Elevated businesses per category, per county - and that is the permanent limit, not a launch promotion. Once a category fills in Chester County, the only way in is to wait for a spot to open. Claiming your free listing is always available and never counts against the cap.
- What is the founding-member rate?
- The businesses that take one of the limited spots early lock in a founding rate for as long as they keep the listing: $19/month for Featured (regularly $29) and $99/month for Elevated (regularly $199). It is our thank-you to the first movers who help build out Chester County, and it does not increase later. The founding window has closed; businesses that locked it in keep it.
- Is my listing really free?
- Yes. Every business in Chester County gets a free listing at no cost, ever. We believe every local business deserves to be found online.
- How does annual billing work?
- When you choose annual billing, you pay for 10 months and get 2 months free. That works out to roughly 17% savings compared to paying monthly. Annual plans are billed once per year and can be upgraded at any time.
